It’s not that hard and when you even think about it, it sounds really cool. I mean think about, you are able to experience the feeling of using a PC on your smartphone.

Here are a few Windows Emulators that I found useful and will allow you to use windows OS on your smartphone.
All you have to is just follow the steps that I am gonna mention below.
Limbo PC Emulator
Limbo is one of the best free windows emulator on android. It is easy to download and use and it also offers all the important basic and important features of a windows operating system.
I will show you how to download and use Limbo for free. All you have to do is just follow the steps that I will be mentioning below.
Steps to download and use Limbo for Android:
- Download the app from the app store.
- In order to install windows, a Windows IMG file is needed.
- Download the IMG file from this link.
- In your mobile’s internal memory, find the folder where the Limbo PC Emulator app has been downloaded.
- Copy and paste the IMG file in the same folder as the Limbo app.
- Open the Limbo app and set the following configuration settings:
- Load Machine: New, rename it like window 10 or so…
- User interface: SDL
- Architecture: x86
- CPU mode: qemu32
- CPU cores: 4, depending on your smartphone’s performance
- Ram memory: 224
After when you have done setting the configurations, keep on following the steps below.
- Click on Hard Disk A.
- Select the Windows IMG file from the Limbo folder.
- Under the Advanced options, click on the Fullscreen option.
- Click on the Play button to run the Windows.
You may now find yourself on the Windows startup screen on your smartphone. You can now use windows operating system on your Android mobile.
Wine 3.0
Wine which stands for Wine Is Not an Emulator, is a software which you can use to run Windows operating system on the Android system.
It was released recently by Codeweavers and is still in its early developing stages. But it can still offer wide varieties of other systems.
In order to use Wine, there are some system requirements that are needed on your Android device.
Requirements:
- x86 Intel processor such as Tablets, Chromebooks, etc. OR
- ARM processor which pretty much all Android smartphones have these days
Steps to download and use Wine for Android:
- Head over to the Wine APK file server.
- For an x86 Intel processor, scroll to find the wine-3.0-x86.apk file and then download it.
- For an ARM processor, scroll to find the wine-3.0-arm.apk file and download it.
Before downloading, you need to disable the security protocol which stops the installation of apps from unknown sites besides Play Store.
For that, here is what you have to do:
- Go to Settings on your Android device.
- Scroll down to find the About Phone tab.
- You will be able to see the build number, tap on it 7 times straight until you see the message pop-up “You are now a Developer”.
- Go back to Settings and you will be able to see an additional function called Developer options.
- In the Developer options, scroll down to find the Unknown Sources tab.
- Click on it to disable that function.
Now we can proceed to install Wine on your Android device.
- Open the file manager on your Android device and find the Download location of the Wine app.
- Click to install the app on your Android device.
- After when the installation is done, launch the app.
- Launch the app, and it will set itself up and launch the Windows environment on your Android device.
- After a few minutes, you will be able to see a new interface which is almost similar to Windows 98.

This is actually something very new which I personally never have experienced before. Carrying a portable PC in your pocket is something you don’t see or expect for someone to do so.
