Best Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Cases in 2022

by GizmoShot | Published On January 12, 2022

The Galaxy S21 FE may be late due to supply issues and all this crap (waving dismissively in 2021), but it’s finally here, with a small price cut and a bigger screen. Whether you’re picking one from Samsung or your carrier, your new phone deserves the best protection at the best price, which is why we’ve rounded up the best Samsung Galaxy S21 cases to choose from, no matter your style or budget.

Vibrant grip

Caseology Nano Pop

The case is the perfect blend of compact yet cushioned, gorgeous yet functional. Caseology’s Nano Pop series provides powerful protection for the S21 FE’s sweet camera while remaining slim and stylish.

ready to work

Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro Series

This mil-spec rugged case utilizes its size to hold a wide and stable stand that works in both portrait and landscape modes. The built-in screen protector has a special adhesive ring to ensure you still get a clear fingerprint scan to unlock your phone.

no more glare

Lingke fusion

Clear cases are usually glossy, crystal clear and definitely easy to smudge, and Ringke understands that’s not all that glamorous for your Galaxy S21, so it offers a matte clear case to avoid glare and visible dirt.

forever favorite

Spigen Rugged Armor for Galaxy S21 FE

While Spigen rolls out new designs every few years, the classic Rugged Armor remains one of the most popular cases on the market a decade later. The trim extending from the camera module adds grip, while the carbon fiber still kicks around the bottom.

more comfortable to hold

Samsung Clear Slim Watch Strap Cover

This unique first-party case comes with two detachable straps, one that perfectly matches the translucent case and the other that offers more dynamism. The shoulder strap allows you to hold the phone more securely when reaching for the phone on the far side or taking selfies.

Rough and handsome

CaseBorne ArmadilloTek V Galaxy S21 FE Case

Like the Supcase UB Pro, this heavy-duty multi-layer case is built to stand the test. Unlike the UB Pro, though, it doesn’t have a built-in film screen protector. This allows you to get a more durable tempered glass screen protector.

Feels great, looks understated

Case Library

Available in matte black and soft sage green, the Vault feels great in the hand, grippy and velvety without any bulk at all. The Vault is a solid case for those looking for slim, low-profile protection.

Slim but sturdy

Speck Presidio ExoTech

While it doesn’t have Speck’s signature ridges, the Presidio ExoTech’s soft-touch exterior feels great in the hand without the high price tag. You still get mil-spec durability and MicroBan coating.

Speck $30

bubble party

Spigen Tough Armor for Galaxy S21 FE

The Spigen Tough Armor, which was once a dual shell, now hides a foam lining for higher, stronger drop protection. A stand that sits flush with the hard case also makes it easy to binge YouTube in the lounge and beyond.

dark horse competitor

Ringke Onyx

The Ringke Onyx may not be as widely known as the Spigen Rugged Armor or the Caseology Vault, but its hues complement the Galaxy S21 FE’s lavender, olive, and graphite shades, adding grip and anchor to a shoulder strap or phone charm.

dust cover

OtterBox Galaxy S21 FE Commuter Series

Most cases with silicone plugs to keep dust, dirt, water, snow and sand out of the USB-C port are usually water tanks, but the Commuter gave us that protection while still maintaining a fairly compact size. The rubber on the back also keeps it from slipping off anything.

OtterBox $45

show off that color

Spigen LCD Series

Samsung brought us some unique colorways with the Galaxy S21 FE in a less faded army green and prettier lavender, and the LCD showcases it perfectly. To hide smudges and wear, use the Glitter variant!

Safe to carry with you

TUCCH Magnetic PU Leather Folio

This leather wallet case blocks RFID signals to prevent someone from stealing your credit card information, while still allowing NFC to work. Available in nine colors and three credit card slots, this wallet also comes with a lifetime warranty.

bold and soft accents

CaseBorne ArmadilloTek S-Series

This sturdy clear case eschews the see-through bumper that looks bad on the edges and corners, while the colored bumper complements the S21 FE’s colorway, or subtly complements the matte hue.

unique look

Caseology Parallax Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

The 3D design on the back of this hybrid case is both unique and divisive; you either love it or hate it. If you’re a PopSocket user, don’t worry: the texture here is light enough that you can still use your phone handle.

The best Galaxy S21 FE cases balance style and protection

The popularity of the Galaxy S20 FE has helped spur the availability of top-of-the-line cases for its successor, which means we don’t have to wait for goodies like the rest of the phone lineup. Branding options from Supcase, Caseology, Ringke and more mean we can protect our new phone in style from day one.

I’m excited to see the Caseology Nano Pop on the S21 FE, as this will only be on about five Samsung models in 2021. Light violet is the colorway I went with on the Lavender S21, and the S21 FE looks even better thanks to a better matching camera module. Blueberry navy with yellow accents resonates with hundreds of sports teams (better luck next year, Michigan), but light violet pairs perfectly with the S21 FE.

If you want a little extra protection, both the Supcase and the OtterBox have rugged options, although the Supcase can give you a lot more with the UB Pro’s stand and silicone dust cover, which I highly recommend buying for yard work, in cluttered environments Do shop work or any amount of work. Cover your USB-C ports, use a great wireless charger, and avoid the hassle or pain of sawdust or debris messing up your only port.
