Polyphony Digital calls Gran Turismo 7 the most complete Gran Turismo at the studio’s launch, with over 400 cars, over 30 locations, and over 90 layouts, with more to come after launch. The developers also shared more information on how the menu will work, as well as investment in a new weather system, where complex clouds, starry night skies and rain will have subtle or strong effects on the track and racing.
There’s also a new Scapes mode that allows players to shoot car models in the real world and use high-quality HDR footage to seamlessly blend the pictures together. Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 benefits from additional features such as ray tracing and leveraging DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
