The Chinese company didn’t announce everything about the OnePlus 10 Pro right away, instead following its tradition of drip-feeding information. It first revealed the phone’s design in China earlier this month, followed by its specifications a few days later.
On Tuesday, OnePlus announced that the OnePlus 10 Pro will be available in China on January 13. The company also finally revealed the front design of the device, showing a curved display inspired by the OnePlus 9 Pro. It’s a 6.7-inch QHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.


The challenger to OnePlus’ best Android phone of the year is also the first device to run Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1, although this variant is only available in China. When the phone launches in global markets later this year, it will ship with ColorOS 12.
Aside from this information, if you’ve been following OnePlus’ news over the past few weeks, any details revealed today should come as no surprise. Under the hood, the OnePlus 10 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
It will also be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC flash charging instead of the previously rumored 120W. OnePlus claims the system can boost a phone’s battery from 1% to 100% in 32 minutes. It also supports 50W AirVOOC wireless flash charging. Unlike most flagship phones, the OnePlus 10 Pro will ship with a charging brick and USB-C cable in the box.
The device also features a second-generation Hasselblad camera system for its rear shooter. It includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. More details can be found in our coverage.
The device will come in Volcano Black and Emerald Forest colors. It will arrive in India, Europe and North America by the end of 2022, although the price remains a mystery for now.
