Just ask Alexa how your day is going, find out what appointments you have left before escaping work in the afternoon, or find out what’s on your schedule for the week. Manage your calendar with Alexa and you’ll never miss another appointment again. Here’s how to sync your calendar with Amazon Alexa.

How to Sync Your Calendar with Alexa

You can sync your Google, Apple, or Microsoft Calendar with Amazon Alexa, and the setup process for all three is very similar. Remember, before you start, you need to know the login details of the calendar account you want to use.

  1. Open the Alexa app on your phone.
  2. tap more at the bottom right of the screen.
  3. choose set up.
  4. choose Calendar and Email.

  5. tap Add account And choose your calendar provider from Google, Microsoft or Apple. We used Google in this example.
  6. The following screen lets you know that you allow Alexa to access your Google Calendar, so click Next confirm.
  7. When prompted, log in to the Google Account of your choice.

  8. You’ll then see another screen confirming that Alexa has access to your Google Calendar.tap allow confirm.
  9. Select the calendar to link, then tap continue.
  10. On the next page, confirm your default calendar when adding new events, then click continue.

  11. Then select one of your linked calendars as the family calendar and select continue.
  12. then select Enable (or disable) announcements For upcoming calendar events and choose which device to announce from. You can also choose whether to allow overnight notifications.

That’s it! With the best Amazon Alexa devices, you can easily sync your Google, Apple or Microsoft calendars, so you don’t need to check your phone or start your computer to know what’s going on and when. You can even use Alexa to add new events to your calendar. For example, you can say “Alexa, add a dentist appointment to my calendar at 2pm today” or “Alexa, add an event to my calendar” and Alexa will ask you for more information.

By syncing your calendar with Alexa, you can keep track of all your personal and work appointments and meetings, from scary dentist appointments to annual work reviews. No more “I forgot” or confusing the date and time of important events – Alexa makes super organization a breeze.
