Here’s how to delete channels from Samsung TV Plus

The free, ad-supported Samsung TV Plus app gives users access to over 190 curated “live channels” covering sports, news, entertainment and more. Users can also access a range of 4K channels. But what if you don’t like or don’t plan to use all the channels already programmed in the app? Thankfully, we’ve created this step-by-step guide explaining how to delete channels from Samsung TV Plus.

How to delete channels from Samsung TV Plus

The free Samsung TV Plus app offers nearly 200 channels, including ABC News Live, TV Land Sitcoms, The Walking Dead Universe, Pac-12 Insider, QVC, MTV Pluto TV and PBS Kids. If you’re picky about which channels you see every time you open the app, Samsung TV Plus also gives you the option to personalize your streaming experience. Here’s how to delete channels from Samsung TV Plus.

  1. press Family or guide button on the remote.

  2. Navigate to the Samsung TV Plus app and select All channels.
  3. In the upper right corner of the screen, select Edit channel.

  4. choose checkbox next to the channel to delete.

  5. go with delete and select delete Confirm in the pop-up window.

Once the offending channel is deleted, the changes will be saved and you can continue streaming your favorite channels.

Delete all channels from Samsung TV Plus

You can also delete all channels that have been programmed in the Samsung TV plus app. Once you’re on the Edit Channel page, you’ll need to follow these steps:

  1. under Edit channelCheck the box next to All channels.

  2. choose delete Confirm in the pop-up window.

If you change your mind about deleting all channels, you will be able to restore the originally programmed channels by selecting the “Restore” option in the final prompt. However, if you delete all channels, the Samsung TV Plus app will no longer appear on your TV unless new channels are added.
