This will be an exciting year.
There are only a few days away from 2022, but some flagships for next year have already been launched. Motorola Edge X30 and Mi 12 are the first two mobile phones to use Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, and they look very promising. However, there are still many flagship devices that have not yet been released, many of which we expect to be released in the first quarter of 2022.
We at Android Central want to know which flagship product you are most looking forward to, not released in 2022, at least in the first half of 2022.
Which flagship smartphone are you looking forward to in 2022?
Samsung will make two major announcements in the first quarter, the first being the Galaxy S21 FE. There are rumors that we will see Samsung’s latest “flagship killer” fan edition smartphone in early January, which may weaken some of the best Android phones in 2022. However, the company may launch its Galaxy S22 flagship series in the next month, giving consumers a difficult choice, especially the rumored S Pen-touting S22 Ultra.
OnePlus is also expected to launch its next flagship series soon, and CEO Pete Lau confirmed that its smartphone will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is all our official information about the OnePlus 10 series, but the leaked images have given us a good idea for the new design of the Pro model.
There is not much information about the OPPO Find X5 series. Nevertheless, we have seen the rendering of Find X5 Pro, which indicates that the company may abandon the microscope camera in its uniquely designed camera array. We also know that the company plans to launch its new imaging chip on the device, which may be comparable to the computational photography of the Pixel 6 series.
Speaking of Pixel, we are not sure when the Pixel 6a will be launched, but we expect it to be available around the spring. This still has a long way to go, but we have had the opportunity to view hypothetical renderings of the device, showing that it will use the same design as Google’s latest flagship product. Although it is expected to be more affordable, it may be supported by the same Tensor chipset, so the performance may be more or less the same.
Little is known about the successor to the next Motorola Razr, but it is clear that Motorola is looking to improve the design and equip the device with a more powerful processor. This will give it a chance to compete with the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the next-generation Z Flip devices that may be launched later this year. In other words, we are not entirely sure when Motorola plans to launch its next foldable product, but we hope it will come soon.
Of course, this is not all we expect to see in the first half of 2022, so please let us know that you are excited about the upcoming flagship product.
