The best Samsung Galaxy S21 cases not only protect your new flagship smartphone, but also make it look as stylish as you. Whether you prefer a clear case, a flip case, a colorful case, or a rugged case, there’s no shortage of options for a popular smartphone like the Galaxy 21. The best part is that you don’t even have to spend a fortune to keep your Galaxy S21 looking good for a long time. Here are some of the best Samsung Galaxy S21 cases you can buy today.
Rich in color and texture
Caseology Nano Pop
Employee selection
The Galaxy S21 is the first Android smartphone to get Caseology’s Nano Pop series, and 110% is worth the wait. The case’s texture makes it more appealing than Caseology’s longtime favorite, Parallax, and the color combination here is bold, beautiful, and pops around the S21’s camera cutout.

Slim grip and grit
Ringke Onyx Collection
If you want to add some grip to the sleek little Samsung, Ringke’s Onyx line has two variants worth checking out. The regular Onyx is available in three solid colors, while the Onyx Design features a pattern on a black canvas. The entire case has a nice non-slip texture and even has anchor points for attaching a lanyard or wrist strap.

Proven true protection
ArmadilloTek Vanguard Series for Galaxy S21
ArmadilloTek makes some of the toughest phone cases on this side of Pecos, and their proud Vanguard line is one of the best. It is rated MIL-STD-810G, which is twice the rating of conventional military drop tests, which means the S21 can withstand drops from up to 20 feet! It comes with a built-in kickstand and is compatible with wireless charging.

Premium fit and feel
samsung leather case
Samsung’s leather case isn’t just one of the best first-party leather cases you can buy, it’s also one of the best for the S21 era. While it looks and feels great, I should warn you that this case has no edges around the screen. It’s a premium case, but it’s not heavy duty protection by any means.

clear and crisp
Spigen LCD Series for Galaxy S21
Clear cases tend to be either very thin or bulky, but Spigen’s LCD lineup strikes a nice balance between those two extremes. There are little air cushions in the corners, but they don’t make the case bulkier, and the back is crystal clear and grips well — although I’ll admit, I prefer the Glitter variant because it hides smudges and scuffs better.

Carry everything in style
smart wallet killer
Wallet cases are usually rigid, bulky, and dull in color, but Smartish breaks with the norm and offers wallet cases that are fun and personal. The TPU back flexes so whether you’re carrying one or five cards, it holds them tightly. You can also choose from over a dozen preset designs, or make a case with a one-of-a-kind personal photo or artwork.

OTTERBOX Symmetrical Case for Galaxy S21
Few case series are as instantly recognizable and absolutely believable as the OTTERBOX SYMMETRY series. I love the bold scuba blue that came out this year because it looks absolutely stunning and it has the durability of an OTTERBOX to support that pretty face. Then, of course, if you prefer something softer, you can also use the usual black.

Stylish and sturdy
TORRAS Guardian Series
The TORRAS Guardian series cases are designed to be slim and lightweight, but are capable of protecting your Galaxy S21 from all kinds of damage. It is MIL-STD-810H certified and made from skin-friendly materials. The back panel of the case has a soft matte finish, and you also get full wireless charging support.

ESR Metal Bracket Housing
Thanks to its unique kickstand that adjusts to 60 degrees, this case makes it easier than ever to watch videos or make Duo or Zoom calls hands-free. Raised corners and flexible polymer provide extra protection. You can choose black or clear to match any S21 color you own.

Lightweight and durable
Spigen liquid air armor case
The Spigen Liquid Air Armor Case is one of our all-time favorite smartphone cases. It’s thin and compact to safely protect your precious equipment. Not only does the lightweight texture on the back make the phone easier to hold than a smooth case, it’s also a pleasure to hold. How many cases can you name?

Simple and elegant
OCASE Vintage Collection Wallet
While this collection has a more modern design, I prefer the extra style and binding of the vintage collection. The feature set is the same for both, right down to the RFID blocking to ensure your card isn’t stolen by someone on the street. The color selection here is nice and muted, but I especially like the navy blue.

tough and textured
Caseology Parallax Case
The Caseology Parallax series is one of our favorite cases. It’s affordable, stylish, protective, and a pleasure to hold. Plus, it comes in a few fun colors, including matte black, ash gray, pink, and our favorite, purple. I like the styling here, but the bumper isn’t as sturdy as the Nano Pop.

What are the best Galaxy S21 cases?
The Samsung Galaxy S21 remains one of the best Android phones you can buy right now. That said, it’s a premium device that needs the best maintenance, and for that, you’ll want a case that can handle just about anything.
My personal preference is to have a stylish case that combines protection, weight, lightness and feel. For that, I think the Caseology Nano Pop is the best overall choice. While the texture on the back isn’t as thick as the Caseology Parallax, it feels more grippy in the hand — especially around the bumper — and the bold trim around the camera module catches the eye.
If you want the toughest protection, you should consider a heavy duty case like the Armadillotek Vanguard series. Not only is it built like a tank, but the integrated kickstand feature allows you to watch YouTube videos in landscape or in portrait for Zoom calls with friends and family. I also like the Otterbox Symmetry range, but be aware that there is a tiny gap next to the flash that can trap lint or debris in the pocket.
More great Galaxy S21 cases are sure to be added to this list, so keep checking back for updates, as well as our roundup of the best S21 wallet cases and heavy duty S21 cases. If you or someone you know might be considering one of the bigger devices, we’ve also compiled a case roundup for all the Galaxy S21 models, including the best Galaxy S21+ cases and the best Galaxy S21 Ultra cases.
