The results are not too surprising.
What you need to know
- We asked what to expect from flagship users in the upcoming 2020.
- About half of the votes support the Galaxy S22 series.
- The Pixel 6a and OnePlus 10 series followed closely with the second and third most votes respectively.
Thanks to the introduction of mobile phones running Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, such as Xiaomi Mi 12, the next generation of flagship smartphones has come out. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg as we enter 2022, and more smartphones will be released. This is why we asked readers which phones are most anticipated in the first half of this year, because most flagship products will be launched in at least the first quarter of 2022.
Unsurprisingly, about 50% of the votes indicate that the Galaxy S22 series is worthy of attention. Given the rumors that Samsung will make changes to its upcoming smartphones, this is not surprising. First of all, the standard Galaxy S22 is expected to use a glass backplane instead of a plastic backplane for a better structure. However, Samsung is also likely to completely merge the Galaxy Note and the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra into the Galaxy S series.
Unlike the Galaxy S21 Ultra, this phone may be equipped with an S Pen slot instead of forcing buyers to buy a separate pen and case to fix it. In addition to updated design and new colors, Galaxy S22 may become this year’s flagship.
One commenter, bigsmoke79, seems to represent many people who said that they are most looking forward to the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
S22 Ultra suits me. I have a very good S21 Ultra, but the temptation for all Note to return except for the name with built-in pen and square design will be hard to resist. I have always been a Note Fan, and I have all the other notebooks available in the UK, even 7 or on fire notebooks! And only upgraded my Note 20 Ultra, because I knew there were no notes to come, and the transaction transaction was great.
There is no doubt that the Galaxy S22 Ultra may eventually become one of the best Android phones in 2022. As Samsung effectively kills the Note series, see how it develops with S22 Ultra and later products to attract fans of the Note series. However, this bodes well for Samsung’s efforts to consolidate its product line, especially in the context of continued chip shortages.
