Soon, we hope to: EA and Respawn remain tight-lipped about a firm release date for now, but recent reviews seem to suggest it’s finally coming soon.
Coming soon, soft start
After initially announcing a 2020 release date in 2019, Apex Legends Mobile remains an MIA, despite a closed beta for a few thousand players in select regions. The game is highly anticipated and will probably become one of the best battle royale games on Android. Fans can’t wait to get their hands on it!
In EA’s latest quarterly earnings results, CEO Andrew Wilson said the game will be “coming soon.” Until then, however, Apex Legends Mobile will be piloted in select countries, including Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. Players in these countries can now pre-register for the soft launch by heading to the game listing in the Google Play Store.
The soft launch of Apex Mobile is coming! For users in the countries mentioned below, please follow the link, or visit your local Google Play store page to pre-register. For all the other legends, sit tight! We will provide you with more information shortly.

Closed Area Beta Continues to Roll Out
Like the release date itself, it’s unclear when the West will finally get the coveted Apex Legends Mobile closed beta. In April and May 2021, India and the Philippines got their first round of closed betas.
Then in June, Respawn announced on Twitter that Egypt, Lebanon, Peru, and Colombia would be launching closed betas “within a few weeks,” but whether that actually happened was still murky, as there were no official updates on them.
Pre-register now
Beta or no beta, release date or no release date, you can still continue to pre-register for Apex Legends Mobile on the Google Play Store to keep your finger on the pulse of the game. By pre-registering, you can even get an invitation to test the game in closed beta once it’s in your region. That is, if It relates to your area. Remember that your data from the closed beta will not be transferred to the final product.
Soon, friends. soon.
