Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+, which debuted in China last October, finally entered the Indian market. As rumored, the Indian version of this phone has been renamed Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G.

The Mi 11i HyperCharge 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a fast refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Powering the phone is MediaTek’s 6nm Dimensity 920 5G processor, with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

In the camera department, the 11i HyperCharge 5G has a three-lens setup on the back, and the main sensor is 108MP. It consists of an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP telephoto lens. However, the biggest highlight is the support for 120W wired charging. Xiaomi said that the 4,500mAh battery of this phone can be fully charged in just 15 minutes. This is much faster than many of the best Android phones on the market today.

Other notable specifications of the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, 16MP selfie camera, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, IP53 waterproof and infrared transmitter. In terms of software, this phone runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.

In addition to Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G, Xiaomi also launched vanilla 11i in China. This phone is the same as 11i HyperCharge in most respects, but there are two main differences. It only supports 67W wired charging and is equipped with a larger 5,160mAh battery.

The Xiaomi 11i 5G 6GB/128GB version is priced at 24,999 rupees (approximately US$335), and the 8GB/128GB version is priced at 26,999 rupees (approximately US$363). On the other hand, Xiaomi’s 11i HyperCharge 5G 6GB/128GB version is priced at 26,999 rupees (approximately US$363), and the 8GB/128GB version is priced at 28,999 rupees (approximately US$390). From January 12, the two phones will be sold through Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores and Xiaomi’s cooperative retail stores.
